First off, thanks to all for the new board and great info. Following softball for the first time and enjoying it.
There was a link yesterday to the UVA softball board and some internal bickering between some parents. But also included was a statement that the VT coach was “low character” and was using the program as a stepping stone to an SEC job in the very near future. There was a dead link to their board to back up their statement.
Not as concerned about the character issue due to the source but the second part is something to think about. If money and notoriety are the final driver for a coach then VT is very unlikely to be able to match an $EC offer. Does anyone have insight into the current situation?
